Terms and Conditions of Hire.
1. All bookings are provisional until a deposit has been paid. A booking
form will be provided and the deposit section should be completed / returned along with payment within 7 days or
receipt to confirm the booking.
2. A deposit of £75.00 per vehicle booked is required, this may be done by means of a cheque payable
to Shaun Bellinger. The balance outstanding on the booking must be paid no later than one calendar month
prior to the service taking place.
3. We may be able to book a vehicle at short notice, for these bookings (made within 30 days of the
service) the full balance will be due at the time of booking.
4. Cancellations must be made in writing to the company, the full outstanding balance will be payable
for cancellations made within 60 days of the service.
5. Whilst the company will make every effort to arrive punctually at the required address and venues,
we cannot be held responsible for the late arrival or cancellation due to circumstances beyond our control. The company will
not be responsible for any impact that a delay or cancellation might cause to other arrangements and bookings made. The company
recommends that you are covered by adequate wedding insurance should such an event occur.
6. In the unlikely event of a breakdown, the company will endeavour to supply an alternative vehicle
with a similar specification. If we are unable to supply a suitable vehicle we will offer a full refund of the hire price
or offer a lesser vehicle and a part refund. The company will not be responsible for any impact that a delay or cancellation
might cause to other arrangements or bookings made. The company recommends that you are covered by adequate wedding insurance
should such an event occur.
7. No food or drink (except champagne / water provided) will be allowed in or may be consumed
in the the vehicles. Please note that BlackCat Cars operate a strict no smoking policy in all vehicles.
8. It is important to comply with legal requirements as a passenger in the vehicles. Please ensure that
seatbelts are used at all times. If there are any children that require either a car seat or booster cushion, this
must be provided and secured by a responsible adult member of the party. BlackCat Cars cannot be held responsible for
the safety of equipment provided by the hirer.
9. Our chauffeurs will chose the route using satnav along with experience and knowledge of
the local area. They will accept a route as instructed by the principal hirer, however due consideration must be made of time
restrictions. The driver cannot be held responsible for any delay to arrangements caused by this instruction.
10. Any alteration made to the booking prior to or on the day of the service must be notified to BlackCat
Cars at the earliest opportunity to allow for additional time or arrangements required to comply with the changes.
11. The principal hirer will be responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the period of hire
and we reserve the right to invoice or make a charge for any losses or damage sustained to any part of the vehicle caused
by any passenger or a third party incited to cause damage to the vehicle. A minimum charge of £100.00 will be applied to cover
valeting costs should fouling be caused by any passenger through food, drink or illness.
12. Violence, foul language, intimidation or any form of anti-social behaviour towards the chauffeur
or member of the company staff will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of the service and could
result in police involvement. Acts of vandalism or malicious damage caused to the vehicle will result in prosecution.
13. Our chauffeurs will check the vehicle for passengers belongings left in the vehicle at the end of
the hire period. We cannot be held responsible for any lost or broken items during the journey or left in the vehicle after
the service. The passengers are responsible for ensuring they have all their belongings at the end of the service.
14. Total discretion is provided by the company and our chauffeurs will not discuss client details.
We may with your consent take discreet photographs at the wedding for use in our advertising or website. If you do not wish
to allow this please mark the appropriate area on the booking form.
Our website features an area where customer comments, photographs and recommendations are shown. We

15. We reserve the right to amend the Terms and Conditions at any time.
